Born David P. Kelly, several moons ago, I use my pseudonym, “HawkSoBright” for writing, as a representation of anyone who wants to soar towards the sun as they make their way through the universe!
My pseudonym is also a combination of my two children’s middle names.
Some people enjoy writing as a hobby, others, like myself, write as it’s in their very fabric of their lives.
My family are my best friends, and my friends are my family!
This page is dedicated to my two beautiful sons, Mason and Zephyr, my delicious wife Mercy, my mother Roberta whose guidance has shown the world that a peaceful existence is always possible, my creative brothers Kendall and Brendan and their families, and lastly my dad and sister who have passed away.
If I can teach one thing to others it’s:
“Writing can take you anywhere you want to go;
to the highest of mountains, the darkest regions of outer space, to the future and the past, and even inside someone else’s mind. So, explore new worlds that you, yes you, can create!

The dirty disposition,
The shaved eyebrows.
There is a reason for all of it,
and if you are one of the lucky ones,
you will be standing here in 48 hours telling a story
remarkably similar to this one to yourself about a similar group of lackies.
If you’re not so lucky,
then your life is already over.
Well not yet,
